I am grateful to see another SGI member honor other Buddhists, like the Dalai Lama. I am also an SGI member, but sometimes I feel that at times we in the SGI are not encouraged to find inspiration in other Buddhist figure heads other than President Ikeda, and while he serves the bill a lot of the time, I find inspiration from many people, including other Buddhist leaders, including the Dalai Lama, and I am encouraged to see another SGI member out in the world with the courage to show that we have respect for people of all faiths.

Thanks so much for your comment, Adabel. I completely agree. I view it as a part of my study. It helps me to develop a deeper understanding of my practice. It also cultivates within me a greater respect for all facets of Buddhism.
