This Sunday, there will be a tremendous celebration commemorating a day in history 50 years ago. It is the day when the president of SGI passed the torch of realizing the happiness of humanity based on the philosophy of Nichiren Buddhism. He invited 6,000 youth members who had gathered throughout Japan to assume leadership in the peace movement. Today, the SGI renews this invitation to the youth of today.
Join us at 10 AM at El Camino College in Torrance (Da Marsee Auditorium). It should be a fabulous event. It has attracted the attention of world leaders and politicians, including U.S. Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.
